The two remaining Deres youth teams still in county cups found out who they will be playing in January after the draws were made for the London FA Under 16 Cup known as the Tony Elsley Memorial Trophy and the Kent FA Under 18 Cup sponsored by the Merit Group.

Under 16's Pink
It is a trip to East London for the Under 16's who have been drawn away to A.C. United in the 3rd Round of the London Cup, the Walthamstow based side play in the ECHO Junior Football League Under 16 Premier Division and are 6th in the table with 10 points from 8 games. They beat FC Battersea 5-4 on penalties after drawing 1-1 in the 2nd round and received a walkover win against Alperton FC in the 1st round. Meanwhile the Deres got a bye into the 3rd round after the side we were due to play withdrew from the competition and had also received a bye in the 1st round making this our first game in the competition. The tie is due to be the first game of 2024 for the side with the competition marking 7th Jan 2024 as the fixture due date.

Under 18's
It is a trip to the seaside for our Under 18 side who have been drawn away to Folkestone Invicta in the 4th Round of the Kent FA Under 18 Cup sponsored by the Merit Group. Folkestone play in the Kent Youth League Under 18 Premier Division and are 3rd with 20 points from their first 10 games. Their route to the 4th round was a 4-0 win at home to Tunbridge Wells Foresters in the 1st round, a 1-0 win away to Deal Town in the 2nd round and a bye in the 3rd round. Meanwhile the Deres were given a walkover against Canterbury in the 1st round and beat Tunbridge Wells 3-1 in the 2nd round before also receiving a bye in the 3rd round. The tie is due to take place on the 28th January 2024.
