The draw was made today for the first two rounds of the Presence & Co Southern Counties East Football League Challenge Cup and the Deres received a bye into the second round and then a home tie against Lewisham Borough Community Football Club.

The Boro finished 5th in the SCEFL Division One last season making the play offs, they played out an epic penalty shoot out in the semi finals against Larkfield & New Hythe losing 13-12 on penalties in front of a crowd of 235 in Larkfield. They then won the SCEFL Division One Cup last season beating Larkfield & New Hythe 3-2 at Gay Dawn Farm.
